Bottle Bank for Blue Glass
Question by Guest | Last update on 2021-05-06 | Created on 2016-10-05
In our neighborhood there are bottle banks for white, brown and green glass. However, after a small party yesterday, I have to dispose of some blue glass bottles.
Unfortunately, there is no bottle bank available for blue glass around here. Should I throw those bottles into the white glass container, the green glass container or rather into the residual waste?

You can throw your blue used waste glass into the container for green glass.
White glass must stay clean, so that it is possible to recycle and to reuse it. With green glass, foreign colors are not disturbing that much and blue is the most similar color to green. At some locations, there are even only to bottle banks available: one for white glass, the other for stained glass.
