Is it possible to use your IndexAuthor on a PDF document? If so, what settings need to be made for this?

Currently, the direct reading of a PDF document is not (yet) possible.
However, you can do the following: If the PDF document has page numbers, you can copy the entire text of the document to the IndexAuthor via the clipboard. Here, select “Text Index” and “Use Text as Source”. The page numbers (if available and if they are alone on a line) are then automatically extracted from the copied text and you can otherwise create your index as usual.
