Does hair become more dense with often haircuts?

Question by Guest | 2013-08-27 at 21:30

From year to year my hair is growing thinner and lighter. Now I have heard that the hair is becoming more dense, the more often you cut it. Indeed, much like it is with the lawn in the garden.

Before I start with my cure, I just wanted to ask if there is something in this rumor. Does anyone know something about it?

I am sorry to disappoint you. Unfortunately, there is nothing in this rumor. Please have a look at my info about whether hair is growing faster when it is cut more often, too.

In your case, actually the situation is quite the same. The hair is not becoming thicker with a cut, but perhaps you nevertheless might benefit from frequent cutting because the hair will look more neat and with all hair having the same length, maybe the hair is also appearing thicker. Of course, I cannot promise anything.

But please, do not worry about it, even little hair can look sexy - provided it is cut short so that it almost looks as if you had a bald head. Just do not make the mistake of trying to compensate your lack of hair by longer hair or cheating with combing longer hair over your baldness. Actually, this is looking ridiculous! Just cut your hair rather almost completely, so that you can still see some of the hair. With the proper head shape that will actually looks super cool and sexy.
