Should I wear High Heels at School?
Question by Guest | 2016-07-22 at 22:52
I really love wearing high heels and high shoes in general. However, up to now, I only dare to wear them at home and outside only at special occasions like a party or a birthday.
I have been thinking for a long time how it could be to more often put on these beautiful shoes also in my everyday life. I am a schoolgirl and still going to school and I am fascinated with the idea to wear my high heels also exclude. So far, I have never dared to do that, also because there is no other girl having such shoes (most of them are wearing sneakers).
What do you think? Do you have any suggestions for me? What would you do?

Whether wearing high heels at school is more or less sensible depends on several factors in my opinion.
First of all, there is the question of your age. If you are only 12 or 13, I would generally advise against the issue and I would recommend to come back to this thought later. However, if you are perhaps even 20 and you are going to some vocational school or something like that, in my opinion, nothing speaks against it.
The next point is the height of the heels and how extreme the shoes are. I think, certainly, no one has something against small, rather inconspicuous shoes while you should care about not wearing to extreme ones.

You should also consider that a school day might be very long.
If you have to leave your shoes on the holiday from driving to school at the morning till coming back home in the afternoon or evening evening, this can become quite exhausting. Additionally, you often also have to walk long distances at school. That is something different compared to sitting for one hour at some birthday table.
Have you ever worn your shoes for such a long time before? I give you the advice to take some ballerinas in your pocket with you for a possible exchange when starting the first try (ballerinas are a good choice because they do not take much space). The next advice is to start with small heels.
