What is so special about Low Jeans Styles?
Question by Guest | 2013-12-13 at 17:06
When shopping, I frequently see so-called Low Jeans Styles. For example, there is one model named "Super Skinny" and another one of the same brand is labeled "Super Skinny Low".
What is exactly the difference between those styles and when should I better choose the low-style and when the other one?

Low means that the Jeans has a low rise waist. There are Jeans with a normal height, hiphuggers with a lower waist and High Waist Jeans with a particularly high waist.
Which model is better, is a matter of taste. Many like the low-models because they are not so much pressing into the stomach. Especially if you have a little tummy, it may look better when wearing the Jeans under it. On the other hand, also a High Waist Jeans can be a good choice and can be advantageous to model the belly a little bit.
The best is to try on various models to get a feeling of what is most comfortable and looking best for you.
