When I'm surfing on the internet using my smartphone, there are always displayed small icons or symbols at the top of the display indicating the speed of the Internet connection.
Which symbol represents the fastest and best internet? And what internet sign can I achieve at maximum?

If your smartphone supports LTE, 4G is the fastest. In the case, your mobile phone supports UMTS (most smartphones do so), H+ is the fastest.
After that, in order of speed: H, 3G, E, G and 2G. Therefore, 2G is the slowest.
