I have already started this voting on the German version of Askingbox. Now, I want to know what the English users are thinking about the operating systems. What do you think is the best operating system in the world?

Windows: It is very popular today to be against Windows. Usually, the argument is that the Windows system is permanently crashing. Okay, perhabs these where the times of Windows 3.1 or Windows 95. But I have never seen a crashing Windows 7 in my life. So, what speaks against Windows? I am also very satisfied with this operating systems, so I have also voted for Windows here.

Linux: I'm a big open source fan, I'm for Linux! Why pay for something when you can have it for free?

Windows: Windows was already installed on my computer, I don't know anything else but I'm satisfied. Why should I bother to set up a new system?

Windows: I have never used another system instead of Windows, because Windows was always the operating system installed on the computers I have bought. I am very comfortable with this, so I see no need to change my system.

In addition, Apple computers are so expensive. Why should I give so many money only for an apple on my computer?

Windows: Mac OS and Apple is too commercial for me. I have tried Linux, but there I had no chance to get my printer running. So, I am a Windows user.

In addition to the arguments of NetLabel, I have to say, that most people are thinking that viruses are only a problem on Windows systems. But I think, that is not the case. Today, even Apple systems and smartphones are nested by viruses. Also this argument came from a time in which no one had these other systems, so it made no sense to create viruses for them.
