Lazarus: The test directory could not be found
Question by Guest | 2016-06-07 at 18:27
Today, I have installed Lazarus on my computer. The installation passed without any errors and also programming my first application worked quite well.
However, in the moment, I wanted to start my program, I got the following error message:
The test directory could not be found:"~/tmp" (see IDE options)".
What can I do? I was so close to my goal!

Probably, you have deleted the directory for test projects that was created by Lazarus.
Just go to "Tools > Environment" and enter an existing folder to the field "Directory for building test projects".
After that modification, it should work again.
