How to rename Project in Eclipse
Tip by Sledge | 2013-09-16 at 12:10
For some months, I am working at a project with the help of the Eclipse IDE. In between, the purpose of the project has changed, so that the project name, I have chosen at the beginning of the project, is no longer fitting.
I thought, just rename the project and give it a new name. But it was very hard to find the appropriate function. I have only found it, because I thought there must be an option for that. Because it was so hard to find, I would like to share my solution today.
How to do it
Go to the "Package Explorer" window at the right side and click on the most upper folder of your project. After that, a menu opens in which you only have to click on "Refactor" and "Rename". The rest of the work takes Eclipse.
