How long has the Berlin Wall existed?
Question by Visionary78 | 24/08/2018 at 10:41
Again and again, the year 1989 is remembered, in which the Berlin Wall fell. Strangely enough, it is never said when the construction of the Berlin Wall started and how long the Berlin Wall existed accordingly. Can someone tell me more?

In 1961, the decision was made to build the Berlin Wall and already in the night from the 12th to the 13th August 1961, the traffic connections between East and West Berlin were sealed off. In 1989, the wall was opened again.
Accordingly, the Berlin Wall separated the East and West of Germany for 28 years.
