How many seconds does a day have?

Of how many seconds does a complete day actually consist? Does anyone know? That must really be quite a lot.

1 day = 86400 seconds
The calculation is quite simple: 1 day consists of 24 hours, each of these hours consists of 60 minutes and each of these minutes consists of 60 seconds.
So, it is: 24 * 60 * 60 = 86400.
