Samsung Galaxy: Switch off Firmware Update Notification
Question by Guest | 2016-09-29 at 19:33
I am actually quite happy with my Samsung Galaxy smartphone (Android System). If there were not those permanent messages and notifications for firmware updates!
I do not want to carry out this update because in my opinion this update is rather a step backwards and I want to keep my phone still for a long time! The more unpleasant, uncomfortable and annoying it is, having to click that message away again and again. Partly, the message even puts or installs itself into the notification area so that there is no chance to remove it.
Is there any possibility to completely deactivate the firmware update notification?

I am angry and annoyed about this update insanity for long time. This should help you
On some systems, the possibility to disable "Auto Update" is missing. In this case, only the second suggestion can help.
However, it could be that the programs start again automatically after restarting the smartphone so that you have to deactivate the programs with each new start of your phone. But this is even much more better than be faced with those permanent annoying notifications.
