Are the Adobe Creative Cloud applications running in the browser?
Question by Guest | 2014-03-19 at 11:49
As far as I have understood it, some of the Adobe products from the Adobe Creative Suite will be offered in the cloud in near future (Adobe Creative Cloud). In this license model it should only be possible to rent the applications for a specific time.
How can I imagine executing the programs in such a cloud? Will there only be a browser version available for each of the programs? I can hardly imagine that applications such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Premiere or After Effects are running smoothly in the browser.

Don't be afraid. Like it was with the normal old purchase licenses, also the applications of the Adobe Creative Cloud are installed and executed on your Windows or Mac computer as usual.
You can also work with the programs offline and without Internet connection. It is only necessary that there is an Internet connection from time to time, because the programs are connecting Adobe once a month to check whether your license is still valid.
