RTF: Center Text in Footer

Question by Filer | 2015-08-14 at 19:20

At the moment, I am trying to create a RTF document manually. Up to now, I have defined my RTF Footer in the following way.

{\footer\pard Footer Text\par}

However, the footer text is displayed left aligned in my document which obviously corresponds to the default RTF settings.

What can I do to change the alignment used within the footer only? Is there any way to change to centered alignment there?

In order to center the text within your footer, it is sufficient to add the command word \qc to your footer.

As an example, your footer definition could look something like that:

{\footer\pard\qc Centered Footer\par}

In the same way, instead of \qc you can also use one of the other RTF formatting for text alignment.
