Up to what age do humans grow?
Question by Guest | 2016-09-29 at 18:48
I am 16 years old and I am only around 1.70 meters tall. It seems as if I am not growing anymore since some time! Is that normal? At what age do human beings usually stop becoming taller and larger and when are they fully grown? Is there any specific age known? Is there any chance with me? I do not want to be that small for my whole life.

No panic. You are still young and it can still happen a lot. It this quite normal that growing is happening in batches. One time, you have a growth phase, the other time it stagnates for a certain period of time. This is completely normal.
Even if the biggest growth spurt is happening between the age of 14 and 15 years, you can still keep on growing up to an age of 20-22, some people are even becoming taller until 24.
And even if you stay at a size of 1.70 meters, you are still in good company. A healthy self confidence compensates any differences in size.
