How to hide album in Gallery in Android devices

I am using Android version 4.0, pls is there a way or an application that i can use to hide an album in my gallery, in such a way that even if some one go in to my gallery they cannot see that album but can see others. Thank you.

Create a file named ".nomedia" and put it into the directory, you would not like to show in your gallery. Folders containing this file are not indexed by the Gallery App.
If the directory is already indexed by the gallery (the images are shown in the gallery), probably, you have to force the gallery to reindex the files. You can do this for example by simply renaming the respective folder to another name in order to run the gallery again. Of course, after that, you can change the name of the folder to the origin name again.
