Facebook: Can a canceled Like nevertheless be seen by the appropriate person?

Question by Mandy | 2012-09-11 at 21:11

Sometimes, I accidentally click on a Like button under a commentary or photos of another person. Whenever, as a matter of fact, I do not wanted to click the Like button, I delete it and all is well.

But now, a real mishap has happened: I clicked on a Like for a person, who should really do not know, that I am following his profile! This is more than bad!

Hence, here is my question: of course, I have withdrawn the Like as soon as it was possible, but is it nevertheless feasible, that he gets a message about it or that it will be displayed in the News Feed? I hope not!

If you have redeemed your Like, the Like will no longer appear in the news feed of the person. It is then cleared.

But of course, you can not be 100 percent safe over it. Finally, the guy could have been online in just the moment, you have clicked, so that he could have seen it. And in this case, of course, he saw it! Or an e-mail was sent informing him about the Like directly in the moment, you have clicked (also unlikely) and of course, there is e-mail can also not been taken back.

All in all, it is rather unlikely, so, you can probably rest easy.
