Firefox: Toolbar Icons for Print, Zoom, Paste and Insert

Question by Guest | 2018-01-22 at 12:05

For years, I was used to the Internet Explorer 6, until my children advised me to better use the Firefox browser instead. Allegedly, the Internet Explorer would be outdated and would represent a huge security gap.

Anyway, I got into the Firefox experience. My first observation was that suddenly all the usual websites looked different and better.

However, there is also a negative side of this change: In Internet Explorer, I have often worked with the big icons in the toolbar at the top. There was an icon for printing, zooming, pasting, cutting and copying that made working on the Internet a lot easier and quicker.

Unfortunately, these icons are missing in Firefox. Is there any way to make the icons available also in Firefox?

Yes, those toolbar buttons are available in Firefox. Just right-click an empty space in the menu bar at the top. Then choose the option "Customize" from the context menu.

You get an overview of all available functions as well as your missing symbols for printing, zooming, pasting, cutting and copying and you can simply drag the icons to your desired position at the toolbar with the mouse.
