Opposite of Game Over

Question by Guest | 2016-06-13 at 20:19

If you have lost a computer game, at the end, there is always stated "Game Over". Everyone knows Game Over.

However, what about the equivalent to Game Over for the case you have won? Game OK? Game Finished?

As far as I know, there is no general catchword or commonplace phrase that could gain general acceptance or assert itself for winning a game. The used phrase can be different for each other computer game. Nevertheless, typical examples are:

  • YOU WIN
  • GAME ON
  • LEVEL COMPLETE
  • GAME COMPLETE

However, many games are just showing some animations or other things coming up without any pithy sentence.
