Windows Command Prompt: Open second window in same directory
Tip by NetGuy | 2013-04-24 at 14:15
Situation: We are using the Windows console (CMD/Command Line Interpreter) and we would like to open a second window in the same folder.
Solution: No problem at all! Simply execute the command "start" like this:
C:\Users\UserName\FolderA>start
In this example, a new CMD-Window is opened with "FolderA".
