Where will the next European Football Championship take place?

For the first time in 2020, the next and therefore 16th European Football Championship will not take place in one or two individual countries, but it will be distributed all across Europe.

Included are the countries Germany (Allianz Arena, Munich), England (Wembley Stadium, London), Denmark (Copenhagen), Hungary (Budapest), Italy (Olympic Stadium Rome), Scotland (Hampden Park, Glasgow), Azerbaijan (Baku), Belgium (Brussels), the Netherlands (Amsterdam Arena), Spain (San Mamés, Bilbao), Ireland (Aviva Stadium, Dublin), Russia (Krestowskij Stadium, St. Petersburg) and Romania (Arena Naţională, Bucharest).

The venue for the 17th European Football Championship 2024 has not yet been determined. There will be a decision in Septembre 2018.

In this table you can see the previous venues. The first European Football Championship was held in France in 1960, the last EC in 2016, also in France.
