Learning how to walk in Ballet Heels
Question by HighHeelsTryOut | 2025-08-19 at 10:33
Recently bought a pair of ballet heels and was eager to try them out, but came to realisation I can't exactly balance normally on them and my toes hurt pretty much even just standing in them for a few seconds. What can I do to learn how to walk in them and to ease the pain in toes?

The first question is how good you are on "normal" high high heels. If you cannot handle them, you should first learn that and then you can go higher and higher until your toes have got used to it. And then, practice, practice, practice.

Oh I'm pretty decent on normal high heels. I'm wearing 7 in platform heels very nicely, planning to move on to 8 and 9 inches ones.

Then you should really first practice to walk on the highest normal high heels before you go to ballet heels.
