Where are the fonts stored that Word uses to print?
Question by Guest | 2026-08-22 at 15:47
I have created font lists from Print My Fonts and exported to Word. Now all those fonts show up in any new Word document. Where does PMF store fonts so they can be deleted after I'm finished with my font lists.

PrintMyFonts does not store any fonts. It only shows fonts: Either the installed system fonts or fonts from font files.
To show the fonts from font files and to be able to print them, the program temporarily registers the fonts in Windows. Maybe that is why they are showing up also in the font list of Word.
However, when closing the program or at the latest with your next restart of Windows, those fonts will be unregistered again.
