Am I too tall for High Heels?

Question by Guest | 2016-01-12 at 13:01

My height is 1.75 m and when I go out, I appreciate wearing high heels. From time to time, even shoes higher than 10 cm are possible. In my opinion, it just perfectly fits to certain of my outfits.

Unfortunately, regularly one of my girlfriends is spoiling my appearance. She is only 1.53 m tall and strongly believes that you should never wear high heels or higher shoes with my size.

Now, I wonder whether there are is some truth in her opinion or whether she is just jealous of my size, because she never wears high heels and therefore even looks much smaller next to me when I am wearing them.

What do you think? Do you think that it is okay to wear high heels with my size? Or rather not?

In principle, I believe that everyone should wear what he or she likes most.

If you like to go out or if you like to go to parties in high heels, I would not let me dissuade this by my girlfriends.

It is useless if you only wear something for her and you are feeling unwell the whole evening or celebration only because of that.

If you are looking for a man, sometimes it is a bit difficult when you are too tall.

Just imagine that you are 1.90 with your high shoes: In this case, only men over 2 m will be interested in you which of course will minimize your chances.

On the other hand, this is not a problem at all, if you already have a boyfriend or if you especially want to sort out men of that kind. Finally, if you are often wearing such shoes, your man in future should fit to that size and you will not be approached by smaller ones.

I am 1.82 meters tall (as a woman) and I do not let me spoil the fun of wearing high shoes.

There are always people who are jealous of you or people that want you to change. Just do what you want.
